Reincarnation Furniture is a small family run business  specializing in unusual handcrafted items of furniture made from old recycled timbers, predominantly teak wood, but also mahogany, ironwood, tamarind, mango wood and Lychee wood.

This timber is extremely old, mostly sourced from demolished

buildings, railway tracks and sidings, rice paddy ploughs, fishing boats etc. Old sections of plough might become legs on a TV cabinet, a rice pounding slab of wood could become a coffee table or an old boat might become a wine rack. Each piece gaining new life and giving new pleasure to another generation.

Our policy of only using reclaimed or recycled timber also means that our precious forests are retained. We also use hand tools and old-fashioned carpentry skills in making up our pieces, plus traditional time consuming natural shellac (French Polish) finishing. This gives our furniture that special patina which begs to  be stroked and touched.

For this reason every piece of furniture created at  Reincarnation Furniture is not only unique, but made to last for generations, unlike most mass produced new timber furniture offered today.
